9/20/11 All racers no matter what you race please contact us if you are interested in a great place to race next year. New formats that cater to the racer and teams. Points Fund payout, great racing and more. Especially mini cups, even though page motor sports will not be fielding a car in the mini cup divsions next season, we want to continue to promote this division. As being named Corbin Speedway general manager we will be putting some new things in place for the 2012 season. Please stay tuned as we will be holding a year end banquet and announcing some great things for the 2012 season. 8/26/11 All we can say is WOW, we had a blast at the Bristol Race Night. To be able to be with all the greats of yesterday, and today, showcase our sponsors with theirs, our race car, and for Travis to do over 5,000 or more autographs with the fans, and to be in front of over a 100,000 people was just incredible. We loved all the fans talking to us about our car, doing the pictures with the fans, and signing all the shirts for the fans was jsut incredible. We want to Thank FOOD CITY for wanting us to come and be apart of the show. We were pretty tired afterwards but PAGE MOTORSPORTS would be there tomorrow if we could again. We look forward to next year when we can do it again. Nothing better than to give back to the fans that pay hard earned money to see us. Thanks to all again. 8/22/11 It is official Travis is the Season Track Champion at 2 separate Tracks for 2011. Travis also went undefeated at these tracks for the 2011 season. Page Motor Sports is very excited to be invited to the Food City Race and show at Bristol Motor Speedway the weekend of the 25th of August. We look forward to seeing all the fans there and giving away many of our gifts to the fans as well. Thanks to all our Sponsors for this season please see our Sponsor Tab for all the sponsors that have supported us not only this year but though out all of our seasons of racing, and Thanks to the biggest man of all for all of us, GOD who makes all things possible. We will be doing some other racing to finish out the year but it will not actually be for points just to have to good fun. 7/10/11 For anybody out there who is or wants to be racing mini cups, we are going to try and put together a series for next year 2012. This series would consist of Kentucky, Tennessee, and Southern Indiana just out of Louisville, Ky. The series will consist 24 - 26 races with a series Championship, and some other perks a well, such as Track Championships. The mini cups are a fantastic competitive series and worthy of a series. We need at least 10 cars plus to sell our series to other tracks in order for them to put up money for us to come. We can also get other sponsorships from outside sources. Please contact pagemotorsports at pagemotorsports@rocketmail.com this is possible, serious racing, and friendly rules no more limiting rules to tie your hands or nit pick stuff. It puts the creativity back in racing Nascar style. This is not a joke and can be possible if the real racers respond. I will be glad to discuss rules and so forth with you when you contact us. Thank You and lets go racing. 7/04/11 It was a struggling weekend for us as the car would not even start on Sunday morning. After working feverishly on car all day it was discovered that we had a fuel line that we found collapsing going to the carburetor and we were able to get things fixed 2 hours before qualifying. We were lucky enough to qualify first and set on the pole for the heat race, after winning the heat race, which set the field for the feature we were able to set on the pole again and win the feature for our fourth straight win at Corbin Speedway. Again Page Motor Sports is humbled by our season and we thank all our fans, sponsors, and family for standing behind us. A huge thanks goes out to Corbin Speedway for putting on a great 4th of July race, and letting Travis and our car carry the American flag for the ceremony around the track. 6/19/11 PAGE MOTORSPORTS WOULD LIKE TO SAY HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ALL THE DAD'S OUT THERE. MAY YOUR DAY BE FILLED WITH ALL THE JOY YOU WANT ON YOUR DAY. HAPPY FATHERS' DAY 6/12/11 Looking forward to the July 3rd event at Corbin Speedway. We have been tearing car apart getting it ready for the big race. We look forward to having a great race against our competitors. We also hope that corbin can get thru these tough economic times. Thanks John Davis for trying to work thru this even when we know that it is a hard job to do. Please feel free to check out our new pics in the gallery section. 6/04/11 It was definetly a hot day this Saturday as we returned to Corbin Speedway, but it made track conditions favorable for us. It made it possible for some rubber to be laid down on the track for the first time this season. We took advantage of that and was able to loosen the car up a little and laid down a 15.50 qualifying lap and was able to dip down into the 15.30's for the feature. Congratulations to Scott Crusenberry for winning the heat race in his number 8 Toyota. Page Motor Sports would like say how humbled we are to have the season starting out the way it has this year. With being undefeated so far this season, who knows Travis may be able to pull off what his Grandmother pulled off in 1970 by going undefeated, but that's a long way off and that is a tall order to fill. Again THANK YOU to all our sponsors and family to make this happen with out all of you we could not do this, so thank you again. 5/21/2011 Page Motor Sports made our way to Corbin Speedway for the second round of competition of the year for the season at Corbin. Travis took the pole at a 15.80. Travis had to start in the back in the heat race and took the lead on lap 4. A late spin by another car with one lap to go set up a green, white, checker. With the carburetor loading up on the start Travis was slow on take off and fell back to forth place with one lap to go Travis made his way back to 2nd but with laps running out Travis had to settle for 2nd place in the heat race. The feature came and Travis started on the pole and when the green flag dropped Travis got his redemption by never looking back and leading the entire race and taking the checkered flag. This makes 6 wins in a row for Travis and the Page Motor Sports team and we are very humbled by the way our season has started. Again thanks to our family, sponsors and fans for making all this happen. We also regret to inform all of our readers that River View Speedway has closed until further notice, a true shame to close such a prestigeous track but maybe wih some luck it will reopen. Again thanks to all and god bless. Look forward to seeing everybody on June 4th at Corbin Speedway. 5/07/2011 Saturday, we were on our way to Corbin Kentucky Speedway for the season opener of the track. We knew that we had been running good and we were hoping for a good outcome. We unloaded and hit the track and found out that we had a very, very loose race car. With several adjustments over the next 4 hours we were able to dial the car in to about 75% of what we had and just had to go with it. As the qualifying laps were coming up, we hit the track again to qualify. We took the pole with a 15.692 lap time. With the invert in the heat race, we started 3rd and Travis quickly gained the second position. The next few laps got a little hairy, but Travis was able to pull off the pass for the no. 1 position with about 3 laps to go and won the heat race. Running 1st for the heat race set the field for the feature and we started 1st. When the green flag dropped, Travis and the no. 20 car battled side by side for a couple of laps and then Travis was able to gain position and never looked back. It was a great night for the Lucas Oil Dodge Page Motor Sports team. We would again like to say Thanks to all sponsors and the fans. We would not be able to race without you. Please take the time to check out our sponsors on this website.
